Summary

This study aims to assess the performance of urban regeneration projects against their goals by developing a national-level urban regeneration performance indicator. To ensure effective implementation and performance assessment of urban regeneration policies that have been underway for ten years after the enactment of the Special Act on Promotion of and Support for Urban Regeneration in 2013, the indicator is then applied to the urban regeneration project monitoring and assessment system. The new performance indicator will be used to monitor the effect of urban regeneration projects being implemented nationwide at a national level, and explore policy tasks, and will be applied to existing urban regeneration review and assessment systems.
