In collaboration with the Presidential Committee for Balanced National Development (PCBND) and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), GDPC co-hosted the capacity building program on Territorial Policy and Planning for Balanced National Development in Mongolia from Monday, September 13 to Friday, September 17, 2021. Twenty-three government officials from the Ministry of Construction and Urban Development (MCUD) in Mongolia were invited to this program; due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the program was held online.

In the opening session, KRIHS President Dr. Hyun Soo Kang encouraged the participants to learn about Korea’s experience for Mongolia’s National Balanced Development. Twenty-two officials completed the program and received completion certificate during the closing ceremony, which was held on the final day of the program. GDPC Director Dr. Sang Keon Lee expressed his hope that MCUD in Mongolia will continue to cooperate with GDPC after this program.
