GDPC Academy: Global Smart Cooperation Strategy in the Digital Transformation Era

On July 26, at 3:00 PM, the GDPC hosted a special lecture by Professor Kim Young-sik from the United Nations University (UNU). Professor Kim delivered a lecture on the theme of "Global Smart Cooperation Strategy in the Digital Transformation Era."

Professor Kim, with 12 years of experience as a member of the KOICA Volunteer Corps, has actively supported e-governance initiatives in various developing countries. Currently affiliated with United Nations University (UNU) electronic governance (UNU-EGOV), he engages in collaborative efforts with numerous government agencies and international organizations, conducting research and projects related to e-governance.

Throughout his lecture, Professor Kim underscored the critical importance of identifying global demand and fostering the development of capacities at the individual, national, and institutional levels to enable effective cooperation. He also emphasized the importance of networking in creating opportunities for knowledge sharing and collaboration, saying that platforms such as LinkedIn should be actively utilized.
